This message appears whenever you attempt to close the MLS Setup or Add/Edit Phone Book Entry window and the following conditions are true:
· You selected a Speed of 9600 BPS or higher, and
· You selected None for Flow Control.
You may experience transmission errors when you communicate with your MLS at high speeds without any flow control. This warning message insures that you really do want to try this.
· If you have a strange modem problem and you call for technical support, the support representative may have you try turning off flow control. Occasionally a peculiar modem doesn't flow-control correctly, and turning it off can (paradoxically) result in better communication.
