Login Script File

(Contents)(Previous)(Next)

The Login Script File field appears below the Service Name field near the top of the MLS Setup (General Tab) window. Your copy of PC Access may have come with a login script file for you already. If so, you may click the Pick button to display a file selector window showing all your available script files. Script file names usually correspond to your Emulation, such as MAESTRO.SCR, MASTER.SCR, COMPASS.SCR, or WPML.SCR.

Notes for advanced users:

· You may create your own script files. See Script Language Overview.

· If you already have a Login Script File that works with your MLS, you may record a more complex Login Script File that logs you in to your MLS and also automates MLS tasks you would otherwise perform manually. The easiest way to do this is by enabling the Script | Record for Auto-Logon menu item on the Terminal window after you begin recording your script.

· If you record a script for auto-logon, you may also set up a phone book entry that uses it for delayed dialing by specifying a Delayed Dial Time on the Options tab of the Add/Edit Phone Book Entry window. You may then highlight this phone book entry on the Phone Book Select window and dial it with the Later button.

Setup item classification:

· Parent window: MLS Setup (General Tab)

· Setup item type: Advanced

· Who specifies: MLS or You

· Importance: Optional
