Advanced Modem Wizard Setup Window

The Advanced Modem Wizard Setup window appears when you click the Advanced button on the Modem Wizard window. This window analyzes and displays the individual components of the setup information for the modem you highlighted in the Modems list on the Modem Wizard window.

Technical Note:

· Most users should not need to change anything on this window. You should only try changing items on this window if you are having problems with the modem setup you copied from the Windows Registry to PC Access with the Modem Wizard.

If you edit any information on this window and press the OK button, the Modem Wizard translates the items you changed into the appropriate code changes for the Dial Command and/or the Initialize Command. The Modem Wizard does not change your Windows Registry. Therefore, to commit your changes to the PC Access Modem Setup, you must immediately click the OK button on the Modem Wizard window after you close the Advanced Modem Wizard Setup window. If you select a different modem from the Modems list after you close the Advanced Modem Wizard Setup window, or merely re-highlight the same modem again, the Modem Wizard discards the changes you just made on the Advanced Modem Wizard Setup window.
