PC Access for Windows Reference Guide

for PC Access for Windows 4.30.158

Cannot print photo

The most likely cause of this error message is that the printer driver you have currently selected in PC Access has no graphics capability. For example, the Windows Generic / Text Only driver (obviously) can't print photos. If you select this to be the current printer in PC Access and attempt to print a photo, you will get this error message. The fix is to select a printer driver with graphics capability. (Of course, your physical printer must also have graphics capability, but all modern laser, dot matrix, ink jet, and bubble jet printers do.)

Open the Printer Setup window to tell PC Access which of your available Windows printer drivers to use as the current printer. If you haven't yet told Windows about your printer, you can do so in the Windows Control Panel.

If you believe you have selected a graphics-capable Windows printer driver, and you still get this error message, you may need to obtain an updated printer driver from your printer's manufacturer. If your printer manufacturer contends that your printer driver is already graphics-capable, you may have found a bug in PC Access. Follow the instructions for an Internal Error.
