PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access for Windows 4.30.158E-Mail Setup Window: Default to HTML FormatCheck this box if you want PC Access to send your messages in HTML format. If you do not check this box, PC Access will format the text portions of your messages as plain (ASCII) text. Here are some factors to consider as you decide whether you should check this box: · Not all e-mail programs can display messages in HTML format. Before you send someone a message in HTML format, you should verify that your recipient has an HTML-capable e-mail program. · If you send messages in plain text format, and your recipient has line-wrap turned on in his or her e-mail program, wide text lines (such as in listings) may not display properly. Checking the Default to HTML Format box should eliminate this problem on e-mail programs that understand HTML. · Readers with knowledge of HTML may be interested to know that checking the Default to HTML Format box causes PC Access to format listings and loan payment schedules in your messages inside Setup item classification: · Parent window: E-Mail Setup · Setup item type: Advanced · Who specifies: You · Importance: Optional This topic is new for PC Access 4.30.
