PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access for Windows 4.30.158E-Mail Setup Window: My Internet Mail ServerEnter the hostname or numerical I.P. address of your Internet SMTP e-mail server. If you do not know what to type in this field, ask your ISP. · If PC Access has any trouble reaching your mail server, try testing your Internet connection to your mail server with the PING command at a DOS prompt. For example, if your mail server is · Some ISP's only accept e-mail you send from a proprietary e-mail program and will not permit you to send e-mail from another SMTP client such as PC Access. If your ISP supplies you with an e-mail program, you may need to check with your ISP to see if you will be able to send e-mail from PC Access. If you entered a value in the Default Mail Server field on the Internet Setup window and you leave this field blank, PC Access uses the Default Mail Server value when you send e-mail from the E-Mail Message window. To override the Default Mail Server value, enter a different value in this field. Using the Default Mail Server value is convenient if you are the system administrator for an Office/Broker version or Network version copy of PC Access, and the agents who share that copy use the same mail server.
