Flyer Software Not Installed

PC Access displays this message if you attempt to launch the PC Access Flyer and PC Access believes you have not installed it. There are two possible reasons why PC Access would believe you have not installed the PC Access Flyer:

· You have not purchased PC Access Flyer. This is the most likely cause, because PC Access Flyer is not part of the PC Access distribution; you must purchase it separately. If you have not yet purchased the PC Access Flyer and you would like to run it, ignore the following paragraphs in this help topic. Instead, see Flyer Accessory for purchasing information.

· You have purchased and installed the PC Access Flyer, but since then you have lost or deleted one or more of its important files, or PC Access has lost track of them. If you have purchased and installed the PC Access Flyer, read the rest of this help topic carefully.

Once you have installed it, you can launch PC Access Flyer in several ways. For more information, see the Start Flyer Program? help topic.

PC Access detects the presence of PC Access Flyer by looking for the PCAFLYER.EXE executable file in your PC Access executable directory. PC Access determines your PC Access executable directory by reading the PCAWinPath value from your PCAWIN.INI file. If you are positive you have installed PC Access Flyer, inspect the PCAWIN.INI file in your Windows directory. Verify that you have the PCAFLYER.EXE file in your PC Access executable directory, and that you have a PCAFLYER subdirectory containing additional files.

If you have purchased and installed PC Access Flyer, and you continue to get this error message, you may need to re-install PC Access Flyer. See the general guidelines for the File Missing error before doing this. If PC Access continues to be unable to find your PC Access Flyer, follow the instructions for an internal error.
