PC Access for Windows Reference Guide

for PC Access for Windows 4.30.158

SETUP.EXE

The program that installs PC Access. If you received PC Access on diskettes, SETUP.EXE is on your "PC Access for Windows - Disk 1." If you purchased PC Access on CD-ROM, SETUP.EXE is on the CD-ROM. To install PC Access, you can run SETUP.EXE from the Start | Run dialog in Windows. If you purchased PC Access on diskettes, insert your "PC Access for Windows - Disk 1." into your diskette drive and type the following command line in the Run dialog:

A:\SETUP.EXE

(If your diskette drive letter is B: instead of A: type the above command accordingly.)

If you purchased PC Access on CD-ROM, insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive and type the following command line in the Run dialog:

D:\SETUP.EXE

(If your CD-ROM drive letter is something other than D: change the above command accordingly.)

After SETUP.EXE finishes, it will have created your PC Access executable directory and copied several dozen files into it. For a list of files that SETUP.EXE installs, see the PC Access File Manifest on the MFM site on the World Wide Web:
