Windows Clipboard

A temporary storage area in Windows. You can copy text or graphics from many Windows applications to the Clipboard, and then paste it into many other applications. This provides a simple and reliable way to share information between different Windows applications. For example, you can copy the contents of the Terminal window to the Clipboard.
