PC Access for Windows Reference Guide

for PC Access for Windows 4.30.158

Host Feature: Editable fields

(Maestro System) When the host sends you a data entry screen, it contains one or more editable fields. The current field contains an edit cursor (which looks like a flashing block). PC Access is aware of these fields and makes them easier to work with:

· The mouse pointer changes to a "+" symbol when you move it over an editable field. Clicking the mouse once moves the edit cursor to the first character position in that field.

· When the mouse pointer changes to an I-beam symbol, that means the cursor is over an entry field that is already current. Clicking once moves the edit cursor to the mouse pointer's position within that field.

· Moving the mouse over the flashing block cursor turns the mouse pointer to a ? symbol. Clicking the left mouse button causes the host to display help or a pop-up list for the field.
