PC Access for Windows Reference Guide

for PC Access for Windows 4.30.158

Installation Assistant Window

The Installation Assistant window appears the first time you run PC Access, after you close the Register PC Access window. The Installation Assistant window lets you set up PC Access to dial your modem and connect to your MLS. In addition, if you have the Office/Broker version of PC Access, this window lets you set up your list of agents. If you have the Agent version of PC Access, this window lets you set up your personal agent information.

The Installation Assistant window is equivalent to the Setup Assistant window.

· Technical note: the Installation Assistant window appears when PC Access starts up whenever the PCAWIN.INI file contains PCAWin=0 in the [Setup] section. Normally this will only be true when you first install PC Access. Once you complete your initial setup from the Installation Assistant window, PC Access will display the Main Menu window whenever it starts.

· Click here for help to decide whether you should select the Basic or Advanced button.
