PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access for Windows 4.30.158Intelligent PausesWhen you start recording, a small Pause button appears on the Terminal window. If you click this button, you insert an intelligent pause into the comdebug file you are recording. When you play back the file, the Pause button will appear in the same place on the Terminal window when the playback reaches one of your intelligent pauses. The playback will pause automatically, and you are free to process the Terminal window's screen contents with local operations such as print screen, capture slide, and manipulate photo. When you are ready to resume playback, click the Pause button again. Place Intelligent Pauses with Care · Try to select points in your online session where the host has finished displaying a terminal screen and is waiting for your next command. If you attempt to insert an intelligent pause during a complex operation, such as downloading a photo, you may generate unpredictable results.
