PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access for Windows 4.30.158Loading PC Access Window
The Loading PC Access window appears when you start PC Access by double-clicking the PC Access for Windows shortcut in the PC Access for Windows folder on your Windows desktop. If you have checked the Pause for Tip of the Day box on this window (or the same checkbox on the Defaults Setup window), the Loading PC Access window pauses for several seconds. This gives you a chance to read the Tip of the Day. You may also read the Tip of the Day on the About PC Access window. PC Access 4.30 added a new feature to the Loading PC Access window: a More Info button. You may click this button to view a help topic that gives more information about the Tip of the Day. Technical notes: · The LAUNCH.EXE program displays the Loading PC Access window when you run · The Tip of the Day comes from the file · In industry jargon, the Loading PC Access window is an example of a splash window. · If you support or train other PC Access users, you should encourage your clients to read the Tip of the Day and explore further by reading the help topics under the More Info button. This is a painless way for PC Access users to increase their knowledge about the program. This topic is new for PC Access 4.30.
