Modem Selection

The Modem Selection window appears when you click the Pick button on the Modem Setup window. It contains a list of modems for which PC Access has settings. The title bar of the window shows the date stamp of the file containing the modem list.

You may select the entry from the list which most nearly matches the modem you have connected to your computer. When you do, PC Access automatically fills in the Dial, Reset, and Default Initialize Command fields on the Modem Setup window.

If you do not see your modem on the list, select the Generic V.32 & V.32bis entry.

· Most modems work fine with the Generic V.32 & V.32bis entry. If you get an error initializing your modem when you click the Test button, try choosing the Generic V.32 & V.32bis entry and click the Test button again.
