PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access for Windows 4.30.158Photo Download Setup Window: CompressionThe Compression radio button group on the Photo Download Setup window provides two options: · Compressed: Select this option to tell PC Access to save photos in JPEG format when you download them to disk from your MLS, and to give you the option of adjusting the Quality of the JPEG files PC Access creates. See the Photo Download Setup window topic for a list of all commands this option affects. · Not compressed: Selecting this option produces different effects depending on how you are downloading a photo: ¨ If you are downloading a photo specifically for use by an MFM Accessory program able to read photo files in CMP format, PC Access will save the photo in CMP format. For example, the Flyer Accessory is able to read photo files in CMP format. ¨ If you are downloading a photo to disk or to send in an e-mail message, PC Access saves the photo as a JPEG photo at the maximum Quality.
