Click the radio button corresponding to the COM port you use to communicate with your modem or direct connection. If you don't know what COM port your modem uses, you can find out by these methods: · If you are running Windows 95, 98, or NT, the Modem Wizard can usually determine the COM port for you. This is usually the best method. · If you cannot use the Modem Wizard because you have an older version of Windows, or you have not set up your modem in Windows, you can try checking your COM ports with MSD. If you have a serial mouse, the COM port it uses will appear in gray on the Port radio button group box.
