Printing to a FAX Driver

For best quality when printing to your FAX driver, check the Enhance B&W Photos box on the Add/Edit Printer window. While this setting causes slower printing, it greatly improves the quality on the receiving FAX machine when your printing includes photos.

Usually your FAX modem is the same modem you use to call your MLS. This means while you are on-line with the MLS, you cannot send your FAX until you log off the MLS. Some FAX software will ask you if you want to FAX immediately regardless of the fact that you are connected to the MLS. You must never do this! Doing so will most likely halt your Windows session with a General Protection Fault and may require a complete reboot of your computer. If you say no to FAXing immediately, most FAX software will hold the printout on disk and wait to send your FAX until you log off the MLS.
