PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access for Windows 4.30.158Tagging MLS Property NumbersThe Terminal and Scroll Back windows allow you to select (or tag) MLS numbers that you receive during your MLS online session. When you are online with the MLS in the Terminal window, you may send several commands to the MLS which tell it to send property listings to you. Each listing contains an MLS property number. You may want to save this number so you can send it back to the MLS as part of another command. (See your MLS documentation for examples of host commands that produce or accept MLS numbers.) To tag the MLS number, simply move the mouse pointer over it, and click the left mouse button while holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard. (The Ctrl key is necessary because PC Access also lets you click on menu items to send them to the host as commands. By holding down the Ctrl key, you tell PC Access that you want to tag an MLS number, not send the number immediately to the host as a command.) To see, edit, or process the MLS numbers you have tagged, you need to open the Tag List window. See Tag List Window for more information. · If you have trouble tagging MLS numbers, you may need to modify the Tag Format on the MLS Setup (Options Tab) window. · Your MLS may have a command to let you Mark or Tag listings while you are online. This is host-side tagging, and is different than the client-side tagging you can do in PC Access. Whether you choose to tag listings in PC Access or on your MLS depends on what you are trying to do and your personal preference.
