Tag List Window: Send

Clicking this button sends the highlighted MLS numbers in your current list to the MLS, up to the maximum you specified to send. Be sure the host is expecting to receive them before you send them. That is, be sure you are in an MLS command sequence where the remote host is ready for you to type in one or more MLS numbers. This button saves you the bother of having to write down MLS numbers you see on the screen and type them in again later. (This button works only if you are currently online in the Terminal window. Otherwise, it displays an error message.)

These setup items control how PC Access sends tags and what happens to them after sending:

· Delete Tags after Sending on the Add/Edit Agent window.

· Maximum Number of Tags to Send field on the MLS Setup (Options Tab) window.

· Send CR after Sending Tag on the MLS Setup (General Tab) window.

PC Access 4.30.155 and later versions have a keyboard shortcut for the Send button. Instead of opening the Tag List window during your online session, you may press Ctrl-Shift-T on your keyboard. However, unlike the Send button, pressing Ctrl-Shift-T sends all the MLS numbers in the Tag List window to your MLS, even if the Maximum number to send setting is less.

· Caution: if your MLS is a Maestro system, pressing Ctrl-Shift-T may send more MLS numbers to your MLS than it can accept in the MLS command you are using. If your MLS is a Compass system this is usually less of a problem because most Compass commands that accept MLS numbers as input can accept a large number at once.
