Terminal Window Seems "Herky-Jerky"

If text appears in small chunks that display rapidly with long pauses in between, suspect one of the following:

· You have a 2400 BPS modem, but you set your DTE speed to 9600 BPS or higher on the MLS Setup (General Tab) window. This is a common user error with 2400 BPS modems that have a 9600 BPS FAX feature. The FAX speed doesn't apply to PC Access.

· The MLS is very busy and is having trouble keeping up with its current user load. Try calling back during a slack time and see if text displays more smoothly in the Terminal window.
