PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access for Windows 4.30.158Terminal Window Status BarAt the bottom of the Terminal window, a status bar shows information about your session. The status bar has these fields: · Help: The left-most field shows a short help message describing the object currently under the mouse pointer. When you move the mouse pointer over a button, a message appears in this field describing the button. This gives you more information about what the button does. If you move the mouse pointer over a photo, the help message in this field tells you how to access photo commands. In addition, during multi-step operations like capturing a slide to a slide show file, this field displays progress messages. · Current printer: This field shows the name of your current printer. This is helpful if you switch printers while online. · Time/Error: This field shows the current time. If PC Access detects a communication error, the word "ERROR" appears in this field. If you display the Communications Error Log window, this field resets to the current time. · Message bar: a message bar appears on its own line above the status bar proper, on Master Systems only. This displays status messages from the MLS (such as "Photo is loading").
