Uploading Your Setup-Dump File

This help topic tells you how to save a setup-dump file from PC Access and e-mail it to MFM Technical Support. You should do this only if all the following conditions are true:

· You are having a difficult problem with PC Access.

· A support representative has requested detailed information about your PC Access setup.

If the above conditions are true, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Setup Menu button on the PC Access Main Menu window.

  2. Click the Dump button on the Advanced Setup Menu window.

  3. On the Save As file selector, click the OK button to save your dump file. Remember the file name you are saving; we recommend you accept the default name PCAWSET.TXT.

  4. E-mail your setup-dump file to:
    mfm-techsupport@mfm.com
    E-mail your setup-dump file in a reply message to the most recent message you have received from MFM Technical Support. Whenever you send e-mail in response to a request for information, you should create your message by clicking the Reply button in your e-mail program.
