PC Access for Windows Reference Guide

for PC Access for Windows 4.30.158

User Authorization Manager Window

The PC Access User Authorization Manager, or UAM, appears:

· Automatically when you are installing your PC Access user authorization.

· Later, when you double-click the User Auth Manager shortcut in your PC Access for Windows folder on your Windows desktop.

The UAM lets you:

· Install your PC Access user authorization.

· Uninstall your PC Access user authorization if your copy of PC Access uses the disk tie method. (If your copy of PC Access uses the machine tie method, you cannot uninstall your user authorization.)

· Reset your user authorization under the direction of a technical support representative. This may be necessary if you have a computer problem that damages your user authorization and you have no remaining user authorization install count.

· Display the User Authorization and License Information window. This displays the number of install counts you have remaining, and whether your copy of PC Access uses the disk tie or machine tie method.

This topic is new for PC Access 4.30.
