PC Access for Windows Reference Guide

for PC Access Version 4.30

E-mail address

A name specifying a destination on a computer network where you can send e-mail messages. The largest e-mail network is, of course, the Internet. An Internet e-mail address usually has the following form:

username@domainname

where domainname usually consists of a hostname and a suffix such as .com for commercial hosts.

You can use the E-Mail Message window in PC Access to send e-mail via the Internet. When you do, PC Access stores each e-mail address you enter in the E-Mail To field in your e-mail history file, MAIL.HST.

More information on Internet e-mail addresses is available here:

This topic is new for PC Access 4.30 (Friday, February 5, 1999).
