PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access Version 4.30![]()
PCAWIN.INIThe PC Access SETUP.EXE program installs this file into your Windows directory. PC Access uses this file to store your settings from these windows: Defaults Setup, Internet Setup, and Modem Setup, as well as additional settings that do not appear on any PC Access setup window. These extra settings include remapEscapeKey and mapLineDraw. LAUNCH.EXE can back up your PCAWIN.INI file to a diskette. You must not edit PCAWIN.INI with any text editor (such as Windows Notepad). However, PCAWIN.INI is an ASCII file so you may view its contents. Much of the content in PCAWIN.INI will appear in your setup-dump file if you select the Dump button on the Setup Menu window. This topic has changed for PC Access 4.30 (Thursday, January 28, 1999).
