PC Access for Windows Reference Guide

for PC Access Version 4.30

SAVEDATE.DAT

The LAUNCH.EXE program creates this file in your PC Access executable directory when you back up your PC Access setup files . SAVEDATE.DAT is an empty file. LAUNCH.EXE reads its time stamp later to determine if you have edited any of your PC Access setup files more recently. This enables LAUNCH.EXE to determine when to remind you to back up your setup files again.

LAUNCH.EXE also saves a copy of SAVEDATE.DAT in the \BACKUP directory of the diskette where you save your PC Access setup files.

This topic is new for PC Access 4.30 (Friday, January 29, 1999).
