Windows Clipboard
A temporary storage area in Windows. You can copy text or graphics from many Windows applications to the Clipboard, and then paste it into many other applications. This provides a simple and reliable way to share information between different Windows applications. If you are running Windows for Workgroups, you may view the Clipboard contents with the Clipbook Viewer application.
