Internet Setup Window: Hang up Immediately from Internet on MLS Logoff

Check this box on the Internet Setup window if you want PC Access to disconnect your dial-up connection to the Internet when the Terminal window closes. If you do not check this box, PC Access leaves your dial-up connection to the Internet open after the Terminal window closes.

This checkbox only has an effect if you access the Internet via dial-up networking, and you connected to an MLS or other remote host via the Internet. You tell PC Access to connect to an MLS or remote host via the Internet by selecting TCP - telnet or TCP - rlogin as your Connection method on the General tab of the MLS Setup window or the Add/Edit Phone Book Entry window.

Setup item classification:

· Parent window: Internet Setup

· Setup item type: Advanced

· Who specifies: You

· Importance: Optional

This topic is new for PC Access 4.30.
