PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access Version 4.30![]() ![]() ![]()
Summary Listing Speed MenuThe Summary Listing Speed Menu is a local menu that PC Access displays independently of your Compass MLS. The menu appears when the following conditions are all true: 1. You are online with a Moore Compass MLS. 2. You are displaying search results as summary listings with photos, consisting of four listings of six lines each, with a photo appearing to the right of each listing that has at least one photo. The exact name of the Compass screen command you selected to reach the summary listing display varies with particular Compass systems; it may be Photo Report, Viewpoint Report, or Summary Photos on your Compass system. (While you are in summary mode, PC Access provides methods to help you change the current photo, as well as a hyper-browse mode for re-displaying summary listings quickly.) 3. You left-clicked or right-clicked your mouse on one of the listings. This tells PC Access you are selecting this listing for additional processing or as the starting point for navigating to different viewing modes or to different listings in the current summary listing display. The top line of the Summary Listing Speed Menu displays the number of the listing you selected. The menu has the following items (those items that do something with "the listing" act on the listing you selected): · Show Full Listing causes Compass to display the full listing text and conditionally, a full photo. While you are viewing the listing in Compass full mode you may open the PC Access Full Listing Speed Menu. · Show Photo Gallery causes PC Access to download and display simultaneously all summary photos for a listing. This menu choice is selectable if more than one photo exists for the listing. · First, Last, Previous, Next Page simulates the keyboard keys you use to navigate Compass summary listings on a dumb terminal or in a terminal emulator program. · Copy Summary Listing Text to Clipboard causes PC Access to copy the summary listing text to the Windows Clipboard. · Copy Full Listing Text to Clipboard: this option is unselectable until you have viewed the full listing (thereby enabling PC Access to store the full listing text temporarily). Selecting this menu item causes PC Access to copy the full listing text to the Windows Clipboard. · Print This Summary Listing tells PC Access to print the summary listing. PC Access will print both the summary text and the photo. Since this command will generate only a few lines of printout, you will not see any paper emerging from your printer until PC Access accumulates enough printout to fill a page. If you want to see the summary listing printout immediately, you may click the Eject Page from Printer button on the Terminal window. · Print This Flyer tells PC Access to tell Compass to print the listing as a Compass flyer. If you have accumulated printout from the Print This Summary Listing or Print Summary Page commands, PC Access ejects the current page and starts a new page for the flyer. PC Access ejects the flyer page from your printer when Compass finishes printing the flyer. · Print Summary Page tells PC Access to print all summary listings currently visible on the Terminal window. PC Access accumulates printout from this command internally much like it does with the Print This Summary Listing menu command. · Auto Print All Summary Listings: PC Access will work cooperatively with Compass to print all summary listings. PC Access begins by telling Compass to return to the first summary listing, if necessary. Then PC Access automatically sends the Enter key to tell Compass to send PC Access the remaining summary listings. To cancel Auto Printing, press the Esc key. The buffered printing requests may take several minutes to complete. · Auto Print All Flyers: PC Access will work cooperatively with Compass to print all remaining summary listings as Compass Flyers. PC Access automatically sends the appropriate keys to tell Compass to send PC Access the remaining summary listings. To cancel Auto Printing, press the Esc key. The buffered printing requests may take several minutes to complete. This topic has changed for PC Access 4.30.
