Photo Features

This help topic describes photos in PC Access and the Slide Show Editor Accessory.

A Maestro System or Master System typically has photos available for many of its property listings. When you have viewed a listing in the PC Access Terminal window, you can view its photo by clicking the Photo button, or by typing the appropriate host command. (See your MLS documentation.)

PC Access and the Slide Show Editor Accessory do more than just display photos passively when the host tells them to. Photos are full-fledged window objects that you can manipulate with the mouse:

· Zoom: You can zoom a photo to twice its original height and width by double-left-clicking it with the mouse:

1. Move the mouse pointer until it is over the photo.

2. Click and release the left mouse button twice in rapid succession.

¨ Most agents find this more convenient than relying on host commands to zoom the photo, since the host can only zoom the photo at restricted times.

· Drag: You can drag a photo to another position on the display just as you would drag a window:

1. Move the mouse pointer until it is over the photo.

2. Press down on the left mouse button.

3. While holding the button down, move the mouse.

4. An outline representing the photo moves with the mouse pointer.

5. When you release the left mouse button, the photo redraws in the new position.

¨ This is useful for viewing text which the photo may obscure in its original position.

¨ If you happen to be dragging a photo on the Terminal window when PC Access receives a host command to print the photo, PC Access terminates the drag operation. The photo remains in its original position.

· Commands: You can display a speed menu with additional photo commands by right-clicking the photo:

1. Move the mouse pointer until it is over the photo.

2. Press down and release the right mouse button.

3. The Photo Commands speed menu appears.
