Amortization: Semi-Annual TaxEnter a value for any tax payments (e.g., property taxes) you want to include with the loan payment schedule. In general, a property owner pays a property tax every six months. Most home loans include escrow amounts to cover property taxes. The Amortization window divides the Semi-Annual Tax by six (to compute a monthly tax), and adds it to the Total Monthly Payment value.
