PC Access locks up when you call the MLS
· This can happen when you select a COM port on the Modem Setup window that your mouse is actually using. [Note: in Windows, PC Access usually won't lock up if you do this. Instead you will get a Comm link couldn't be opened message. See Communication Error.]
· Another way to get this is to change your hardware after you set up PC Access. For instance, you might have physically removed the COM port from your computer that you selected earlier on the Modem Setup window. Check your COM ports with MSD and compare against your Port setting. If the problem persists, run PORTINFO to detect other types of serial port hardware conflicts.
