Back up PC Access setup files?

This message appears when you run LAUNCH.EXE to start PC Access, and either of the following two conditions is true:

· You have not yet backed up your PC Access setup files. LAUNCH.EXE displays this message when the SAVEDATE.DAT file is not present in your PC Access executable directory.

· You have changed your PC Access setup since the last modification date of the SAVEDATE.DAT file. In this case, LAUNCH.EXE asks if you want to back up your current setup.

In general, you should always back up your setup files when LAUNCH.EXE advises you to do so. Even though LAUNCH.EXE prompts you to insert your "PC Access for Windows - Disk 1" in your diskette drive, you may use a blank, formatted diskette if you prefer.

This topic is new for PC Access 4.30 (Monday, January 25, 1999).
