Unable to find PC Access window handle

This message appears if LAUNCH.EXE receives an error 16 from Windows when it attempts to run the PC Access executable file (PCAWIN.EXE). This means Windows has reported back that PC Access is already running but Windows is unable to find its "window handle." In most cases you can solve this problem by shutting down Windows and restarting it. If this does not work, try running PCAWIN.EXE directly from the Start | Run dialog with this command line:

C:\PCAWIN\PCAWIN.EXE

If your PC Access executable directory is different from C:\PCAWIN, adjust the above command line accordingly.

If that does not work, follow the instructions for an Internal Error.

This topic is new for PC Access 4.30 (Thursday, January 28, 1999).
