PC Access for Windows Reference Guidefor PC Access Version 4.30![]() ![]() ![]()
Previously installed User Authorizations exist· Complete message text: The UAM has detected some previously installed User Authorizations that it backed up on this Disk 1. Would you like to see if the UAM created any of them on this computer? Click No if you know this is the first time you are installing on this computer. If you have already installed this copy of PC Access on another computer, the UAM created a backup copy of the user authorization file on your "PC Access for Windows - Disk 1." When you reinstall PC Access later to the same computer or a different computer, the UAM detects that you have installed PC Access before, and offers to check if you have previously installed PC Access to this computer. If the UAM finds that you did install PC Access to this computer, the UAM will be able to use your backed-up user authorization file instead of consuming one of your remaining install counts. If you are completely certain you have never installed PC Access on this computer, you can click the No button at this prompt and proceed directly to installing a brand new user authorization (and consuming one install count from your remaining install counts). If you have any doubts about whether you have installed PC Access to this computer, you should click the Yes button to tell the UAM to check for a previous install. If it turns out you have not installed PC Access to this particular computer, no harm will result.
