PC Access for Windows Reference Guide

for PC Access Version 4.30

(Contents)(Previous)(Next)

Overview: Host-Specific Features

The GUI in PC Access does more than look pretty. It streamlines your ability to manipulate information both on your personal computer and on a remote computer service . For example, if your MLS is a Moore Compass System, Master System or Maestro System, or the WPML system, PC Access lets you conduct most of your online sessions simply by moving and clicking the mouse. With a "dumb" terminal or ordinary telecommunication program, you have to type words or remember function keys to send commands to a host. In PC Access, you simply click the mouse on command words the host displays on the Terminal window. You'll find yourself breezing through online sessions faster and more easily than you ever could before.
