Agent Roster

In addition to storing listing information, Pocket Full of Listings also stores agent and office information. Here is how it works: when you download listings, Pocket Full of Listings downloads the agent information for each listing. In addition to downloading the agent information with each listing, you can also use the Agents group on the PDA Search window to download agents in your company or agents in your entire MLS.

You can use the Agent Roster to view an agent's inventory, e-mail address, phone number, fax number, and office address. You can also use the Office Roster to view similar information about an office.

Before you can view the Agent Roster, you need to download listings into your Palm compatible PDA. For information on downloading listings, see: Download Listings.

The following instructions will guide you through using the Agent Roster.

1. From your Palm compatible PDA's Main Menu, tap PFoL MLS.
   
   
2. From the Pocket Full of Listings Main Menu window, tap Agent Roster.
   
   
3. On the Agent Roster window, type all or part of an agent's last name in the Last Name field. Tap Search.
   
   
4. After you tap Search, Pocket Full of Listings displays a list of agent(s) that match the last name you entered. To view an agent's information, tap on their name to display the Agent Info window.

   

5. To view an agent's listings, tap View Inventory to display the Agent Inventory window.

   

6. To view more information about a listing, tap on the listing to open the Details window. For more information about the Details window, see: Search for Listings.

Note: when you tap View Inventory, Pocket Full of Listings may not display every listing in the MLS that belongs to this agent. In most cases, due to the large size of the complete MLS database, your PDA will probably contain only a subset of the entire MLS database. Pocket Full of Listings will be able to display only the matching inventory items that are currently contained in your PDA. In other words, if this agent has inventory that you excluded from your PDA by the search criteria you set up on the PDA Web site, you won't see those listings in the Office Inventory list in Pocket Full of Listings.
