for Pocket Full of Listings

Office Roster

In addition to storing listing information, Pocket Full of Listings also stores agent and office information. Here is how it works: when you download listings, Pocket Full of Listings also downloads all of the offices from the MLS.

You can use the Office Roster to view an office's inventory, address, phone number, and fax number. You can also use the Agent Roster to view similar information about an agent.

Before you can view the Office Roster, you need to download listings into your Palm compatible PDA. For information on downloading listings, see: Download Listings.

The following instructions will guide you through using the Office Roster.

1. From your Palm compatible PDA's Main Menu, tap PFoL MLS.
   
   
2. From the Pocket Full of Listings Main Menu window, tap Office Roster.
   
   
3. On the Office Roster window, type all or part of an office name in the Office Name field. Tap Search.
   
   
4. After you tap Search, Pocket Full of Listings displays a list of office(s) that match the office name you entered. To view information for an office, tap on the office name to display the Office Info window.

   

5. To view the inventory for an office, tap View Inventory to display the Office Inventory window.

   

6. To view more information about a listing, tap on the listing to open the Details window. For more information about the Details window, see: Search for Listings.

Note: when you tap View Inventory, Pocket Full of Listings may not display every listing in the MLS that belongs to this office. In most cases, due to the large size of the complete MLS database, your PDA will probably contain only a subset of the entire MLS database. Pocket Full of Listings will be able to display only the matching inventory items that are currently contained in your PDA. In other words, if this office has inventory that you excluded from your PDA by the search criteria you set up on the PDA Web site, you won't see those listings in the Office Inventory list in Pocket Full of Listings.
