If you have difficulty installing PC Access for Windows
from your PC Access CD-ROM, or if you prefer to install PC Access
from your hard disk, follow the instructions below to
Install the PC Access CD-ROM from your Hard Disk.
- Insert your PC Access for Windows
CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
- At the MS-DOS Prompt window, type the following commands:
CD \
MD C:\PCADKTS
This will create a temporary directory on your hard disk.
- At the MS-DOS Prompt window, type the following commands:
XCOPY D:\DISKIMGS\DISK1\*.* C:\PCADKTS
XCOPY D:\DISKIMGS\DISK2\*.* C:\PCADKTS
XCOPY D:\DISKIMGS\DISK3\*.* C:\PCADKTS
XCOPY D:\DISKIMGS\DISK4\*.* C:\PCADKTS
XCOPY D:\DISKIMGS\DISK5\*.* C:\PCADKTS
- Note: The instructions above assumes that your CD-ROM drive
is drive
D:\
- At the MS-DOS Prompt window, type:
EXIT
to close the MS-DOS Prompt and return to Windows.
- To install PC Access from the
PCADKTS
directory on your hard disk, click Start
| Run.
- In the Run window, next to Open: type the following
command:
C:\PCADKTS\SETUP.EXE
- Follow the instructions on your screen to install PC Access.
- After the
SETUP.EXE program installs PC Access,
follow the instructions on your screen to install your
User Authorization.
- Note: When you finish installing PC Access from the disks
you just created, PC Access will prompt you to install your
User Authorization.
You must use your factory original PC Access
Disk 1.
