Build 023

Problem Fixes

• Fixed a problem that prevented Rapid Flyer from saving flyers to the History List. The problem only occurred when a user e-mailed a listing and checked the Customize the Message for each Recipient check box on the Send Flyers Options window.
• Rapid Flyer now removes any blank spaces in the file name it generates when you click the Save the Flyer Shown button on the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window or the History List | Step 2 window.
• Fixed a problem that prevented Rapid Flyer from displaying the changes a user made on the Agent Info tab on the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window. Rapid Flyer stores these changes in the USRDATA.DAT file.
• Fixed a problem that preveted Rapid Flyer from deleting the .JPG file it created in the agent's directory. Rapid Flyer creates a .JPG file for each flyer you send via e-mail.
• Corrected a problem that caused Rapid Flyer to display an erroneous error message on the Add Address Entry window and the Edit Address Entry window in the Address Book. Rapid Flyer would display this message: "%1 does not appear to be valid" when the E-mail Address field was empty. Rapid Flyer no longer displays this message if the field is empty.

• Reduce the size of the font on the Flyer Status window Rapid Flyer displays while it updates the templates on the Flyer Wizard | Step 2 window.

Build 022: Tuesday, July 17, 2001

Problem Fixes

• Fixed a problem in the TMFMHelp popup help. The problem occurred when a user repeatedly opened an empty Address Book window. The popup help window would either not appear; or it would steal focus from the Address Book window. MFM corrected the problem in TMFMHelp and the correction appears in this Build.

• If a user performs a Level 2 or Level 3 reset on the Reset Database window, Rapid Flyer also deletes the contents of the History List.

Build 021: Thursday, July 12, 2001

Problem Fixes

• Fixed a problem that occurred when you switched between listings in the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window.
• Fixed a problem that occurred when a user deleted a listing from the Listings Editor window. When a user deleted a listing, Rapid Flyer would also delete the images for the next listing.
• Changed the font on all of the templates from Arial Narrow to Arial.

New Features

• Release of code in Builds 20, 19, and 18.

Build 020

Problem Fixes

• Fixed a problem that caused Rapid Flyer to display Demo next to the Version field on the About Flyer window. The problem occurred when a user accessed this window immediately after registering Rapid Flyer.
• Upgraded the HTMLLite component to HTMLViewer Professional in TCopyProt.
• Disabled the timer in the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window. See: Build 18 for more information.
• Fixed a problem in InitForPreview that affected the way Rapid Flyer resized the Flyer Preview pane in the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window. See: Build 18 for more information.

New Features

• Changed the text on the Close button back to OK on the About Flyer window.
• Changed the text User's Directory to Agent Directory on the About Flyer window.
• Added a check for a /Setup command line parameter. If you use /Setup and you have not registered Rapid Flyer, it will only display the Activation Key window and the Register window. After you close these windows, Rapid Flyer closes. If you previously activated and registered Rapid Flyer, it immediately closes.

• Add the Save the Flyer Shown button to the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 and History List | Step 2 windows.

Build 018

Problem Fixes

• Removed the check boxes next to the recipients names in the Recipients pane on the Send Flyers window. This only occurs if a user is not customizing any e-mail messages. Prior to this change, Rapid Flyer displayed the check boxes. However, you we unable to unselect the check boxes.
• Adjust timer in Flyer Wizard | Step 3 to resize the Flyer Preview pane at start up. Prior to this fix, sometimes the Flyer Preview pane appeared off center until you resize the Flyer Preview pane.
• Fixed a problem in TCopyProt that incremented the Demo Exec count every time a user opened the Register Rapid Flyer window.

Build 017: Tuesday, July 3, 2001

Problem Fixes

• Fixed a problem that occurred when you changed the alignment of a text object in the Template Designer. The problem caused Rapid Flyer to also change the alignment of the subsequent text objects you selected.
• Fixed several problems that we introduced when we added code to save flyers you print or e-mail from the History List | Step 2 window to the History List | Step 1 window.
• In the Template Designer, the Center Vertically check box on the Properties of Text windows and the AutoSize Frame? check box on the Border Properties window are mutually exclusive. Added code to disable one check box if the user or Rapid Flyer selects the other check box.

New Features

• Release of code in Build 16.

Build 016

Problem Fixes

• The first time a user downloads listings and runs a Rapid Flyer Broker version, it leaves the E-mail Address field blank in the Agent Setup: Information Setup tab and E-mail Setup window. This allows each user to enter their own e-mail address.
• Fixed the double-space text problem in the Edit Plain Text and the Edit Rich Text windows. If you edited the text in either one of these windows, then clicked the Restore button, Rapid Flyer would double-space the text in the window.
• Added Apply buttons to the text editing windows in the Template Designer, Flyer Wizard | Step 4, and the History List | Step 2 windows. Also disabled the timers to fix a "List Index Out of Bounds" error.
• Fixed a problem that caused Rapid Flyer to assume that if a user printed or e-mailed a listing from the History List | Step 1 window or the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window, the listing changed.
• Fixed a problem that occurred when you changed a photo in the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window. Prior to this, when you changed a photo in the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window, then returned to the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window, the photo field was missing.
• Fixed a problem that caused Rapid Flyer to save some types of flyer templates to the History List. This caused some of the flyers in the History List to lose text and photos.
• Changed the point at which Rapid Flyer saves the flyers you print or e-mail to the History List. Now it occurs as you print or e-mail each flyer.

New Features

• Removed the Re-Register button from the About Flyer.
• Disabled the Minimize buttons on the rich and plain text editing windows in the Template Designer, Flyer Wizard | Step 4, and the History List | Step 2 windows. This is because the rich and plain text windows minimized to the desktop, not to the task bar.
• Added additional Internet registration features.
• Added the Clear Picture button to the Open Image File window.
• Rapid Flyer now highlights the images and text you select in the Flyer Preview pane on the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 and History List | Step 2 windows.

Build 015: Monday, June 25, 2001

Problem Fixes

• On the Listing Info tab in the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window, we replaced the PROPADDR field with the STREETNUMBER, STREETDIR, and STREETNAME fields. This allows you to edit a listing's street address.
• Rapid Flyer is now compatible with HTML error responses from the Internet license server.

New Features

• You can now hold down the Shift key and click on Register button in the Register Rapid Flyer window to invoke the "register by phone" option.

Build 014: Tuesday, June 19, 2001

Problem Fixes

• Fixed a General Protection Fault (GPF) that occurred when you e-mailed a flyer from the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window. The GPF only occurred on slower computers.
• Fixed the "Record Locked by Another" and the "Failed Edit" errors that occurred if you changed the photo on the Agent Info tab on the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window.
• Fixed a problem that occurred when you selected a field to edit on the Agent Info tab or the Listing Info tab in the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window. If you selected a field to edit, then moved your mouse, Rapid Flyer would open the field below the field you initially selected.
• Fixed a problem that caused Rapid Flyer to cancel e-mailing all flyers from the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window and the History List | Step 2 window. The problem occurred if you were sending more than e-mail message. If you cancelled sending one e-mail message, Rapid Flyer would also cancel sending the next e-mail message.
• Fixed a problem in the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window. If you opened an edit drop-down window from the Agent Info or Listing Info tab, then closed the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window before closing the edit drop-down window, Rapid Flyer would not save your changes.
• Improved the Open Image File window to perform better when you select a large image, or if you select an image from a floppy or zip disk.

New Features

• Enlarged the drop-down windows you use to edit the information on Agent Info tab or the Listing Info tab in the Flyer Wizard | Step 3 window.
• Internet Registration is available on the Register Rapid Flyer window.
• Changed the location of the Reset User Authorization and Re-register buttons on the About Rapid Flyer window. This should prevent users from accidentally selecting one of these buttons.
• Changed the length of time a Rapid Flyer Demo version waits before it reminds you that it is only a Demo version.
