Introduction

If you set up PC Access to connect to your MLS via your Internet connection you may experience the following error:
Hardware Failure
The Hardware Failure error can occur when you try to connect to your MLS using your Internet connection.

Correcting the Hardware Failure Error

  1. From the PC Access Main Menu, click Setup Menu | Advanced | Internet.
  2. From the Internet Setup window click on the following radio button:
    • Use LAN to Access the Internet
      • Note: if you use an Online Service provider such as, AOL, CompuServe, MSN, AT&T Worldnet Dialer, etc., you need to select Use LAN to Access the Internet.
  3. Click OK to close the Internet Setup window.
  4. Click Close to close the Advanced Setup Menu.
  5. Click Call MLS to connect to your MLS via the Internet.
