Introduction

Note: The information on this page pertains to:
  • Rapid Flyer 2.00 for PC Access for Windows (Compass and Maestro Users)
  • Rapid Flyer 2.00 for Web based MLS Users
  • Rapid Flyer 2.00 for RE/Xplorer Users
If the E-mail All Flyers and E-mail the Flyer Shown buttons are gray (unselectable) in the following windows:
  • Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window
  • History List | Step 2 window
you need to complete the fields on the E-mail Setup window. Specifically, you need to complete the My E-mail Address and Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) fields.

Making the E-mail Buttons Selectable

Follow the instructions below to complete the My E-mail Address and Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) fields.
  1. Choose one of the following methods to open the E-mail Setup window:

    Main Menu Window

    1. From the Rapid Flyer Main Menu window, click Setup | Internet.
    2. From the Internet tab, click the E-mail Setup... button.

    Flyer Wizard or History List

    1. From the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 window or the History List | Step 2 window, click Setup | Change E-mail Setup.

  2. On the E-mail Setup window, type your e-mail address in the My E-mail Address field.
    • Note: An Internet e-mail address usually has the following form: username@domainname.
  3. In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) field, type in the name of your SMTP server.
    • Note: Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) if you do not know the name of your outgoing mail server (SMTP). In addition, Rapid Flyer 2.00 does not support SMTP authentication logins. If your ISP's SMTP server requires authenticating logins, you will be unable to e-mail your flyers.
  4. After you complete the fields on the E-mail Setup window, click OK. Next, close the Setup window.
  5. This will allow you to select the E-mail All Flyers and E-mail the Flyer Shown buttons in the Flyer Wizard | Step 4 and History List | Step 2 windows.
