Updating the Windows 95 Spool Driver

Quick Contents

Introduction

Microsoft corrected a problem that caused some Windows 95 computers to display Spool32 errors. If you are running Windows 95 and your computer displays Spool32 errors while printing, you need to download an updated version of the SPOOLSS.DLL driver.
  • Note: the updated SPOOLSS.DLL driver only applies to the following versions of Windows 95:
    • 4.00.950
    • 4.00.950A
    • 4.00.095B (OSR 2.0 and OSR 2.1)
To download and install the SPOOLSS.DLL driver, see: Download and Install SPOOLSS.EXE.
